2-Channel Fax Board

The TR112 is 2 channel ISA bus FAX transceivers with optional speech playback.
It is an OEM product designed to meet industrial-strength FAX requirements
including LAN FAX servers, e-mail to FAX services, FAX store and forward, and
combined voice and FAX applications.  The TR112 is a two-channel card that has
several features that make it unique.  Multiple channels per slot -This allows
high-density systems to be built.  Up to 24 channels can be run simultaneously
with a system configuration of, for example, a 20 MHz 386 with 8 MB RAM
running SCO XENIX 386 or SCO UNIX.  Using 12 TR112-T1 boards and a third-party
T1 interface board, an entire T1 channel can be terminated in a single chassis
Multiple telephone interface configurations -- there are four versions of the
board:  TR112-LL - Two Loop start channels.  TR112-LD One Loop start and one
DID channel.  TR112-DD - Two DID channels.  TR112-T1 Two channels connecting
to third-party T1 boards.  The DID and T1 channels can be used to
automatically route inbound faxes on a LAN or to separate FAX mailboxes.
Speech playback capability -- This feature allows sophisticated voice and fax
applications.  Multiple OS support -- XENIX, UNIX, OS/2, QNX, WINDOWS NT,
UNIXWARE and DOS are all supported.  DTMF detection and sophisticated call
progress detection.  Software support for the TR112 includes a driver and a C
language tool-kit, The FAX and Voice API.
